Horse Yoga & Horse Barre F.A.Q

Are observers welcome?

  • Sorry, only attendees with a ticket can join in on the fun. No one without a ticket is allowed on the property.

Do I need to have horse experience?

  • No horse experience is required for our classes.

Can children come to the classes?

  • Sorry, no one under the age of 16. We do offer special children’s classes and family events please check our calendar for those dates or email us.

Do I need to wear cowboy boots?

  • No, but you do need to wear closed toe shoes you will not be able to participate with sandals.

Do the horses poop during class?

  • Everybody poops! Yes, the horse may poop during class the horse handler will take care of the mess.

Can I feed the horse?

  • No. Our horses are on special diets to keep them healthy.

Will my photo be taken?

  • Yes, photos are frequently taken and used on social media and for marketing. If you do not want your photo taken please notify us at least 72 hrs in advance.

Do you do private events?

  • Yes, we do! Please email us for more information.

Should I bring a yoga mat?

  • No yoga mats are provided but we do require that bring a yoga mat size towel.

Will I get to ride the horse or sit on it?

  • You will stand next to the horse. Some classes do offer on-horse time check in with us to inquire if your specific class does.

Where do I park?

  • Parking is located past the barn, please following the parking signs and park only in the designated area.

Can I bring my own horse?

  • Sorry, we do not allow outside animals on the property.

Can I bring my dog?

  • Sorry, no outside animals are allowed on the property not even if they are left in your car.

Is there a weight limit for classes with time on the horse?

  • Yes, for the safety of the horse the maximum weight limit is 210 pounds.

Camp F.A.Q

What should my child wear?

  • Dress for the weather we are outside rain or shine and dress in layers. Long pants, and closed toed shoes are required.

Can my child bring their own helmet?

  • Your camper may bring their own equestrian helmet as long as it is a current SEI/ATSM helmet, or borrow one of ours. You do not have to purchase your own helmet for camp, we have plenty for everyone.

Is lunch provided?

  • No. We do not provide any meals ever. Please follow instructions regarding your specific camp and if you are required to bring a lunch or a snack.
